Electron Salon featuring Luc Ferrari

Next Week-End, ELectron SAlon is extending the boundaries of music and 
visuals with Luc Ferrari, touring from the month-long festival "Sounds 
French" in NYC, to play his musical field recordings. This great unsung 
pioneer of Musique Concrete will first present a sound journey through the 
U.S., based on Ambient Sounds he recorded in his travels through the West. 
The second set features a performance mixing from his compositional archive 
where he will be joined by DJ Olive, also known as the Audio Janitor from 
East-village underground digital lab, percussionist William Winant and 
visual artists Warren Stringer and Sue Costabile. Sponsored by the cultural 
services of the French embassy and by the French-American Cultural Foundation.
