Found some info on iraqic artists thru the Aliraq message board.
There is RealAudio pieces to listen at

and lot's of other arabian popular music for download at
http://www.salmiya.net/
also see

there they have a section called "House/Dance/Techno" with short excerpts to
d/l.
No electronic avantgarde that I found at above links - but very many tracks
have electronic instruments/treatening.
