Re: [microsound] microsound



 i was thinking about something today that might not seem directly related
though it's probably pertinent. It often happens that a person who makes
music will become obsessed with a particular sound or group of sounds and
not even know why... it might even make one angry or disgusted with oneself
for doing it. 

 Only later does it become apparent that it is a form of therapy , a form of
protection , like a shield for the nervous system , a way of toning the body
or making certain muscles slightly more rigid.

 The fact that you make music is a sign of sanity and I think one can heal
the mind , become more intelligent through music making and just
experiencing it.
