KYMA/symbolic sound?
I used Kyma for a couple of years, it has a steep learning curve, but
you can teach yourself quite a bit by simply changing numbers in the
patches and seeing how it affects the sound. It produces an incredibly
clear sound, digital out and in. I made about 10 hours of sounds that I
keep on DAT's and use them as a base for future sound development. A
great investment.
