Re: [microsound] sound activities with kids?

i've spent a few interesting afternoons with my daughter (who just
turned three), two pairs of headphones, and a minidisc recorder... we
have crawled around the backyard listening to the crunching of leaves
and grass... used contact mics to listen to heartbeats... and recently
we floated a few mics in tupperware containers in the bathtub then
pitched pennies into the tub. informative? maybe not, but definitely
fun (and we've come up with some nice recordings as a result).
