i do not wish to began a debate; however, i am inclined to prefer using
the source material solely.  i confess to having begun this way today;
however, my reasons for choosing this decision are largely because i
feel the strength of past projekts [not to mention my admiration for the final
compositions] are the members use of this familiar material.  i would be 
quite suprised to find i stand alone on this issue.

so, i personally will use the source material but will none-the-less
enjoy what others contribute based on their decision.  naturally, i hope
many will choose likwise.

after reading kim's post more carefully, i suspekt this projekt was
meant to be more open to one's personal interpretation and respekt this
