Well, I don't know if it's a trend, but I've been contemplating using
them for certain releases myself. They're durable and lightweight,
although obviously longer in length. I think they look rather nice and a
second disc holder can be added to single cases without impinging on the
inserts. Sure, it's more box than the disc (be it a cd or dvd) itself
really needs but I haven't seen too many of the smaller models that are
as affordable. Oh, and they also appear to keep dust out better than
jewelcases. Now, when it comes to having to ship 10 or more of those 
out, I'm not sure how much that would end up costing.... oh and did I
mention the chance to display big cover art on the cover?  ;-) 
															
Anyway, don't mind me, I'm just rambling on right now in a doting label
owner kind of way...
