Re: [microsound] has Aphex Twin ever written anything?

Although not written by Richard James, this excerpt from Brian Eno's
"Webs" book that is included in the Brian Eno 1 instrumental box is
kind of interesting.

"There's one area that I don't know much about that gets called
ambient," he confesses "which is the Aphex Twin type area. Whenever I
do hear things, I don't particularly recognize it as what I call
ambient" Of some of these new ambient tracks, he comments, guardedly,
that they "sound like what I would do if I had just bought a
synthesiser. But then why not?" he adds. "I'm sure that's what a lot of
people think I do."

Speaking of Aphex Twin, I listened to "My Teapot" on the Artificial
Intelligence 2 compilation the other day, he uses the Polygon Window
artist title, rather than Aphex Twin. The song has some interesting
microsound elements to it.
