{ot} late show announcement, like pancake batter w/o suffiecient agua
I am a little behind with this. maybe some of it is
microsound and some macro_ anyway there is certainly
alot of acoustic glitch work going on here and some
electronic bending and whatnot. enjoy:
the Thursday night show already happened, but there
is still tonights show and the decentralized sound
cloud on saturday rain or shine.)
so...(from something I wrote earlier pardon the shows
already occuring)
here it is. the sixth annual Music for People and
Thingamajigs Festival of Made/Found Instruments,
Tunings, Sound Environments and People. Hooray!

William Winant performs Lou Harrison
Edward Schocker and Judy Halebsky debut a scene from a
new dramatic work
Jaele Rollins performs Irish Traditional Mouth Music
Twine (Tomm Nunn and Doug Carrol) perform a duet for
cello and made instruments
FRIDAY, May 2nd , Venue 9, 8pm
Dylan Bolles, poet Stephan Ratcliffe, and countertenor
Tako Oda perform a new work of Dylans on a text of
Stephans
Eric Glick Riemann improvises on his incredible and
ever evolving prepared fender rhodes
Jorge Boehringer and Eric King play music (?) with
cactus, trailor hitch, banjo, weeds and spring
Laetitia Sonami does something
SATURDAY, may 3, noon FREE
location: intersection of market and castro, corona
hieghts hill (randall museum) and the nieghborhood
around
Environmental sound works and guerilla noise
interventions including:
"I love to You" an roving electronic performance work
by Sharon Cheslow
a work by Kris Miltner involving traffic
Shelter by Jorge Boehringer - the installation of
feedback and recorded beacons atop the hills
surrounding the event
Simple Prayer Ritual for Angel Guardian - Jesse Olsen
and friends perform near Market and Castro
Wind Chimes - by the IDEA Ensemble also near market
and casto
Pickup Truck by Aaron Russell
an installation of colors and telephone communications
by Heather Lawson
a performance featuring homemade horns and wooden
megaphones by Dylan Bolles
many other works to be performed and installed
