The Hafler Trio pr=E4sentiert eine seiner raren Performances, diesmal =
zusammen mit Ditterich von Euler-Donnersperg. The Hafler Trio ist ein =
au=DFergew=F6hnlichen Projekt mit einer Faszination f=FCr das =
Numerische.=20
Seit McKenzie in Island lebt, wurden die Live-Auftritte des Hafler Trios =
seltener. Seine Performances entwickelt er ausschlie=DFlich aus =
Material, das exklusiv f=FCr den jeweiligen Ort und Zeitpunkt gesammelt =
wird. The Hafler Trio  ist mehr als "site-specific" und arbeitete mit =
Zbigniew Karkowski, John Duncan, Nurse With Wound, Stilluppsteypa, Sons =
of God, =D6rn Hilmarsson, Adi Newton u.v.a.

Ditterich von Euler-Donnersperg, "ein alter Grummelsack, der eine Schule =
f=FCr Honiggewinnung und Schnittblumenz=FCchtung in Alt-Wrietzen im =
Oderbruch betreibt. Im Nebenamt gibt der Mann seit einem =
Vierteljahrhundert unter der Bezeichnung Walter Ulbricht Schallfolien =
musikalische Dokumente des Scheiterns heraus.=20
Leitspruch: Verdunkeln! Der Feind sieht dein Licht."

Asmus Tietchens  baut sein Solo auf Sinust=F6ne und wei=DFes Rauschen =
auf. Er blickt auf die Zusammenarbeit mit K=FCnstlern wie David Lee =
Myers (Arcane Device), Achim Wollscheid, Thomas Koener oder Terry =
Burrows zur=FCck.

Jonathan Coleclough arbeitet mit Material aus seiner unmittelbaren =
akustischen Umgebung und benutzt schlichte Techniken der Klangerzeugung. =
Der rohe Charakter des verwendeten Soundmaterials kontrastiert mit =
anspruchsvollen Techniken zur Bearbeitung der Kl=E4nge. Spannungsreich =
schneiden sich die Ger=E4uschkulissen des st=E4dtischen bzw. =
l=E4ndlichen Lebensraumes mit Kl=E4ngen, die der sonst geschlossenen =
Welt des Computers entstammen. Er arbeitete mit Andrew Chalk, Colin =
Potter Tim Hill u. a.

The Hafler Trio presents one of its seldom Performances, this time =
together with Ditterich von Euler-Donnersperg. The Hafler Trio is an =
unusual project with a particular fascination for the numerical.=20
Since McKenzie moved to Iceland, the live performances have become more =
and more rare. The Hafler Trio develop each performance from material =
which has been gathered exclusively for the specific venue and time of =
the show, but the work still remains more than just "site-specific". The =
Hafler Trio collaborated with Zbigniew Karkowski, John Duncan, Nurse =
With Wound, Stilluppsteypa, Sons of God, =D6rn Hilmarsson, Adi Newton =
among many others.

Ditterich von Euler-Donnersperg, "an old ranting one who runs a school =
for  honey production and cut flowers growing in Alt-Wrietzen in =
Oderbruch.=20
In addition to that the man has been delivering for the last quarter of =
a century and under the name of Walter Ulbricht Schallfolien musical =
documents about failure and breakdown.

Asmus Tietchens  builds his solo on sine waves and white noises.
He looks back at the collaborations with artists like David Lee Myers =
(Arcane Device), Achim Wollscheid, Thomas Koener or Terry Burrows.

Jonathan Coleclough works with material from his immediate acoustic =
surroundings and employes simple sound generation techniques.
The rough character of the sound materials clashes with the high quality =
techniques he uses for the sound processing.
The background noise of urban or rural environments mingle with sounds
which originate from the otherwise closed world of the computer.
He collaborated with Andrew Chalk, Colin Potter Tim Hill a. o.
