for what it's worth
my personal experience from playing blues was listening to other players, 
particularly those trying to emulate
Little Walter (my personal favorite).
he used a bullit microphone, if you can find one,
this will make you play with your hands cupped around the harmonica, 
producing great sounds and feed back
put it through a delay and looping device, and if should you be so lucky to 
find an old tube amp, it would be nice.
