i freaked out a bit too when i read this bill casually. but before you 
drag the kalashnikovs out from under the bed, read closely:

it does in fact seek to catagorize a very badly worded [thanks kyle!] 
definition of "terrorism" alongside a number of other crimes, both petty 
and grand. it DOES NOT try to equate bad checks, mp3s and dogfighting 
with terrorism. that is for the lawyers to do in court when they really 
wanna nail you :-)
