If, and I aggree this is a big if, we could build a decent AI. Wouldn't 
enslavement come only after the intelligence has deemed humans to be a 
bother. This would be based more on a desire than rational thought. So wants 
would have to come first, artificial desire. And after that the computers 
would have to come to want humans gone...why would they? I take care of my 
computer better than I take care of myself.

I just don't see it happening, or not the way others see it happening.
