ok I haven't slept in a couple days, so maybe Imp wrong in assuming Imp
being misunderstood here...

I propose that the audio portion of the movie be uploaded somewhere and
access be provided in a streaming format (mp3 stream?)  the upside to this
is that people will be able to select from the middle or end of the movie
without having to download the entire audio portion of the movie.

participants will then select from this file, a 30 second piece of audio.

we will each take our 30 second piece, whatever that may be, and use that is
our sole base material for whatever we decide to make.

I would impose a limit on the length of each piece.  the source and end
result would be uploaded in mp3 format.
