Re: [microsound] fan reaction to laptop
I think people have to just get used to the idea of
music coming from somewhere othere than a guitar. I've
have very similar expiriences with DJing earlyer in
the 90's, but lately people seem to be more accepting
of records as a medium. we make very strange music
with very strange methods, so I try and have a bit of
understanding when I get funny reactions to what I'm
doing. I suspect that in a few more years laptops will
gain more acceptance. you have to remmember that alot
of these people have probly never seem someone use a
laptop on stage before, and such might be a bit
confused. now if I can just convince them I'm not
playing "techno"!
