how ready are you to be inspired or moved? it's a 2 way street.

i'd say you're more pretentious than any thing else [of course, pretense
like that is usually an asset in the arts biz]. you seem to ready to
dismiss oceans of music as trite, boring, and so on.
some of it, maybe a lot of it, may not be stuff you want to listen to
right now. but it was made by someone probably a lot like you in certain
respects. a person, with some sound skills, trying to make the music
that excites them.
