I hear you all re: "Neuromancer"

At WG's' request my friends and I did the soundtrack from the
"Neuromancer" Audio Book 10 th Anniversary edition that TimeWarner did bk in
1994 and I still believe we did a good job ,
but after the trials & tribs I have heard about the Gibson -Cunningham
process - I also believe that may as close as "Neuro" gets to being made as
a Movie.
That's after the previous attempts ('Cabana Boy'in the 80's which was maybe
the one that had Fripp involved, Director Chuck Russell's
attempt/presentation later '80''s /early '90's that we supplied CG for ,
etc.).
>From what I know the  WG Movie trail is a bit cold by now,
but I won't be surprised if someone doesn't pop up saying ...

At least we (WG and us) were happy with what we did for the Audio Book
and I'd like to rerelease it (another Anniversary coming soon) ,
but for me the stone killer for 'WG into Movie' was our "Johnny Mnemonic"
experience.
Wow , 1989 -1995 was a long involved period of development/turnaround
/Sillywood stupidity , you name it ...
Unfortunately , we were involved with that one from the very, very beginning
but what a result .
We did the original score (black rain) that stood until Sony got involved
and the Sdtk went corporate.
They DID have to buy us out though so at least we got our's bk .
I recall walking out of the NY theatre premiere with WG and Jack Womack and
saying 'jeez, we can do much better than that'
But I'm digressing from "Neuromancer" ...
And no comment on "Matrix Reload -er" Sdtk .
