Re: [microsound] Re: Artists who also work for software companies

I don't have quite the years of these other fine fellows but I thought I'd
represent, the Professional Un-professional being a highly underexposed
minority.

I've been working with computers in a proffesional capacity for 5 years.
Started as a tech; assembling the simple lego set of wholesale computer
parts. I quickly became interested in web development and have created
various corporate and art/music-related websites and small java and visual
basic apps for the publishing industry. All of the software was done on a
contract basis and tele-communicated.

I've been studying music for the past 11 years and about three years ago
the two converged. Now I write software that no one in their right mind
would buy and music that no one in the buy can rightly mind. Both are
freely available on my website.

Unfortunately, my passion for computers has been insensitively neglected
by the job market, as of late, and I have been sustaining myself primarily
on oxygen, caffeine and occasionally as a Sauce Analyst and Crust
Technician.

keep churnin' them 1's 0's and maybe you'll get butter.
