-Particularly Dumitrescu is a very interesting composer;
 his work seems to relate much more to this contemporay
 period where tinbre has become such an important aspect

 structural notions of notes and chords. Dumitrescu, amongst
 others, has been far ahead in this.

-With the waning of influence of the 'Darmstadt Schule'
 (Stockhausen/Boulez/Berio), it is clearly that is has become
 a historical period just like the Second Viennese School with
 Schoenberg et all. As such the importance of Boulez is decreasing
 and one can regard his 'Repons' in kind of Brucknerian way; albeit
 beautiful music, but dated....
