headphones in the venue, and broadcast to the world via the net. for once,
it's a perfect opportunity for some focused listening. bring your own
headphones or borrow ours: plug in, switch on, tune out.

NYC's Placard Headphone Festival of Experimental and Electronic Music will
take place on july 17-19. over 30 musicians from all over the world will
be performing for three glorious and inexpensive days at the tank, a new
venue for performing and visual arts in hell's kitchen.

The Placard London Headphones Festival happens on july 20 at state 51's
impressive warehouse space near brick lane. the cream of London's
underground electronic music scene - and beyond - is brought together for
a day and night of headphone performances.
