I wouldn't trust them at all. The site just looks like a piece of email
spam to me. All this crap about "revolutionary" noise cancelling. There
is nothing revolutionary about it. Its just a matter of simple acoustic
imsulation that fully enclosed headphones have used for decades. And the
way they try to blind you with science - all that stuff about dB levels and
the perfect mixing environment is absolute rubbish.
In my opinion there is no such thing as the perfect set of headphones -
nothing that comes near to a good set of monitors and a good room. Buying
really expensive headpohnes is IMO like buing really expensive sunglasses.
One day you are gonna loose them or sit on them.
I suggest going to a hi-fi shop and trying a few different models. If
possible take along a portable CD player with a CD you are familiar with.
Beware of the ones with extremely coloured sound, ultra crisp toppy high
frequencies and punchy bass. These will be very fatigueing with long
listening, apart from being very inaccurate. With some headphones if you
press them very close to your ears you here more subs. I would go for
these rather than ones which deliver a lot of subs all the time which also
would be fatigueing with long use.
