the article was just the typical summer-garbage they always publish 
during off-season for news.

regarding conceptualizations ... no offense mr/mrs. devslashnull but 
"bowling for columbine" would be a good starting point. then lookup 
"herbert krugman" on the net and branch out from there 
("low.involvement theory" etc which evolved from an experiment by 
macluhan). how TV works as a media on us humans is extremely 
well-researched by the advertising industry and at least some of it is 
publically available.

and let us only hope that microsound music doesnt have a powerful 
effect on blacks concept of white middle-class students ;=)
