I'd also recommend the Edirol UA-1A (ie Roland) which is very similar in
price and ease but uses gold-plated RCA=2E Only downside is the lack of
drivers (apparently they won't make them), but I use Detour to control
internal audio levels instead=2E Does iMic have drivers?
