yes, i see this better. 

i would hate to feel that somewhere out there are some parameters
set by someone (talking about power issues) which alone determine
quality of art. 

this year's venice's biennale deals exactly with this topic:
"Dreams and Conflicts: The Dictatorship of the Viewer"
and i would add: of the Listener. 

"sound is the vehicle and intelligence is the driver/engine"
the listeners' life (meaning the whole lot) is the ultimate
interpretation tool, the link to this so called intelligence. 

there might be many misunderstandings... but that's part of the game
and at times makes an individual feel unique.
