CLOSING RECEPTION FOR SOUNDVISION
October 2, 6-10PM

GenometricsREMIXED!

Soundvision is closing on October 18th after 13 months.  To celebrate
the gallery will present a live remixing performance of the newly
released TRIBRYD INSTALLATION SOUNDTRACKS CD by Roshi (Ted Laderas of
XOX Magazine) and Kenya DuBois, a recent transplant from Cincinnati to
PDX who is the founder of Distorted Grooves and records as a downtempo
groove duo under the moniker of Popularity Contest Committee).  These DJ
/ Musicians will use sound samples from the CD Soundtrack for TJ Norris'
Genometrics multimedia installation and create their own electro and
downtempo soundscapes in a continuous performance between 7:30-9:30PM.
Beta-lactam Ring Records will be there to make copies of the limited
edition CD available for purchase at the gallery.
