framework - phonography/field recording; contextual and decontextualized =
sound activity
presented by patrick mcginley

this week featured a long composition by dutch composer roel meelkop, =
into which we mixed several short untreated recordings from a 3" cd =
collection taken across the usa by mike hallenbeck. we also listened to =
a selection of tracks from a portugese compilation entitled on paper - a =
project proposed to a collection of sound artists by pedro tudela. we =
heard his untreated source recordings before exploring the reactions of =
[des]intergracao and pure. then on to some new work on the greek label =
antifrost by texturizer, as well as a track by alexei borisov and =
jeffrey surak (of zeromoon) from the mini-assemblage series on =
scotland's the locus of assemblage. don't forget our new repeat =
schedule - if you like the looks of this playlist, you can catch this =
show again this wednesday at 11:00am bst!

again, we are always looking for material for the show, whether raw =
field recordings, field recording based composition or introduction =
submissions (details below). send material, released or not, on any =
format, to the address below. we are also hoping to have live =
performances as often as possible, so if you are in or passing through =
london please get in touch!=20
