microsounding montrealites,

i'm proud to invite you to a new edition of PR=C9rien, an "off" series=
 linked=20
with the fourteen edition of "rien =E0 voir", happening this week only!  a=
=20
high risk edition that is open to all sorts of surprises!

this time again, our concerts start at 6 PM & cost only $5.  this time=20
again, the sound quality will be stunningly high, with over 20 loudspeakers=
=20
all around the room!  & this time again, the whole thing is co-presented by=
=20
the ever fearless no type label.

this edition of rien =E0 voir will take place at espace GO, corner of=20
saint-laurent & saint-joseph...  just across the street from casa del=20
popolo.  :)

here is an overview of our three concerts:

* thursday october 16, 6 pm, $5, espace GO
sam shalabi will present a new work in tribute to RnB singer brandy (!),=20
featuring nearly 20 montreal musicians (or not) who were recorded=20
specifically for this occasion.  with sound diffusion from the composer=20
himself, oh yes!  a premiere on every level.

* friday october 17, 6 pm, $5, espace GO
max haiven & jon vaughn, two composers with boundless imagination, both=20
from saskatoon, are coming to present us one side of their enigmatic new=20
work, "front".  there will not be "nothing to see" this time: the duo will=
=20
perform live, with props!  a unique occasion.

* saturday october 18, 6 pm, $5, espace GO
the closing show is offered by l'orchestre de granulation (the granulation=
=20
orchestra).  this extreme improv group (cal crawford, a_dontigny, =E9rick=20
dorion, phil=E9mon, julie rousse, david turgeon) will be complemented by=20
louis dufort at the console for an uncommonly beatific sensorial experience!

to top it off, the beginning & the ending of each concert will feature=20
short works from young montreal composers.
