Fabriquedecouleurs is the alias of Emmanuel Allard, a sound and visual
artist born and based in Paris.
Emmanuel Allard explores audibility extremes with a preference for joyfully
confrontational frequencies and gritty shards of digital data: The Wire
calls it Branca-ish.
For the last four years he has performed in France, Switzerland, Italy, USA
and Japan in venues such as Batofar, Instants Chavires, Beaux-Arts (Paris),
Tonic, Diapason Gallery (New York), Ecoteca (Pescara), Aichi Prefectural
University Of Fine Arts And Music (Nagoya) releasing music on List, Active
Suspension and Evenement!
After his early involvement in the List Label for which he designed the
first artworks (Minima~List, Sogar and Mou, Lips!), he decided to work on
his own, creating the Dorodine label in 2003.
Returning from a Japanese tour during which he met Carl Stone and Utah
Kawasaki on stage last summer, Fabriquedecouleurs released a first album,
Imite Moi.

Fabriquedecouleurs also appears on the forthcoming compilations "Levitate"
(N-REC, France 12.03) and "Oral-Extension" (Odorico, Japan 12.03) featuring
artists like COH / Sogar & Sebastien Roux / Cylens / Main / Mokira and Pita
/ The Sine Wave Quartet / Lozi / Odot.Lamm / Minifer / Sawako / Sutekh.
