[microsound] Sync?

how does one go about synchronizing two computers close to perfect
resolution.
when running something as Radial or Live ,nothing seems to bring the two
together well. Midi sync thru clock is wobbly inaccurate, OSC isnt
available.. Its funny that software developers really dont care about
syncing multiple systems, steinberg has a bit but its proprietary.anyone
have any suggestions as to what the best methods or if there are apps to
fulfill such needs?thanks
