Re: [microsound] "alternative" controllers for performance
perhaps not as hi-tech, I'm working on a nintendo controller project. It
is possible by building a simple conversion box to use 5 NES controllers
simultaneously on the parallel port of a PC. The software is being
developed in java and will allow channel assignment for each controller as
well as some other MIDI goodies.
If all goes well, I'll be documenting the project on my website and
possibly selling boxes and modified controllers to people without the
desire to build their own.
