Re: [microsound] ancient generative music
There was a recent article about kaffee Matthews in Wire, where she is
talking about using strings that are like attached to kites or something
like that, that seem to effect a max patch she created, I can not remember
if this is something my mind is inventing or if I have the details all
wrong, but the below post reminded me of her process.

very ancient greek generative instrument. very large harp is placed in an
open field where the wind is generally good. the wind vibrates the strings
(which I think were metal but I'd have to look that up) which generate
harmonic frequencies. all natural drone installation.
