As for a half serious answer, theres always a consumer market for a sort
of all in one wonder device. For a certain segment of the market,
dropping a chunk of change on one package of some sort is extremely
desireable over assembling a custom system that best suits ones personal
requirements. It's a sort of semi false sense of accomplishemnt, "now I
have this killer system, now I can now go about realizing wonderous
music".
