Umatic Workshop: Pure Data Exposed!
[Derek Holzer + Gerard van Dongen]
Pure Data is a free, open-source software which can be used for live
audio and video processing which runs on Linux, Mac OS X, and Windows.
Because it is essentially a programming language, the learning curve can
be a bit steep. "Pure Data Exposed!" aims to flatten this curve by
presenting beginner's-level installation and programming instruction,
and by showing performance examples of what the program is capable of
doing. The end goal is to give the participants enough background to
begin their own explorations in Pure Data.
