RE: [microsound] no input mixing board
Was it Nakamura who coined the EXACT term "no-input-mixing-board" in
reference to his work?
-scott allison
i'm looking at either pretty much joe meek's entire oeuvre (ca.1964) or joe
boyd's work on the first few mono pink floyd singles (ca.1966) as the root
of mixer/desk feedback/"self-oscillation" as a cheap pre-synthesizer purely
electronic tone-source. the candle has to burn for nakamura, as he's surely
the one who... "popularized" said system in the contemporary
non-idiomatic-improv context... -k
