Re: [microsound] Cremaster?
> playing the no-input mixing board
does anybody have some more info on "no-input mixing board"s? a friend of mine has a cd by that name by a japanese artist called toshimaru nakamura (i am not sure if this is available outside japan, she bought it over there) i listened to it once at her place, and she even sent me a cdr copy, which, however seemed to recognise its own ilegality and refuses to play...:)
i remember it to be a very intense athmosphere with lovely glitch sounds and hums and hisses reminding me a bit of pan sonic...
so, is this a sort of "established" technique allready used by various artists, or rather two "paralell" idea/s. any info?
anyways, seems i will have to check out cremaster now as well... [start homer simson voice:] hm. prepared guitars....[end homer voice].... and all coming with a deathmetalbandname...
anybody feeling like donating to my cd/lp fund? lol
thanx for info past and yet to come,
thost
