A note to anyone with a Denon DN-1800F CD player around. I just 
discovered a wicked little bug. It goes like this: Choose a track, and 
press and hold down the play button. Then press and hold one of the 
pitch bend buttons (+ or -). While holding the pitch bend button down, 
press and hold the other pitch bend button. Then release the first 
pitch bend button, then release the last. Now you can let go of the 
play button. The pitch bender should be stuck at the minimum or 
maximum. Now you can play around with the pitch slider for all sorts of 
interesting and unpredictable effects. Melodic material is shredded 
into mad, unpitched warbling. Burning your own CDs, the possibilities 
are endless.
