i have gone all quiet on minimalism (heh heh), not because the quality
of the discussion was poor (on the contrary!!!) -i would like to pick
it back up again - and its an example of how the list can be very
useful and stimulating if we use it to talk about music. I am just
going through a massive workload peak at work (about to start
re-writing all degrees in response to government budget cuts).... Hard
to justify long listmail responses while the inbox is crammed with
people freaking out!!! I think we were just starting to approach some
really interesting stuff....
I, unfortunately, am too swamped to talk about this subject -
especially on the levels it was being discussed. But it is a dear
subject to me and I hope to have something more to say - soon - than I
can right now. But work and art and showings are dominating my time
right now.
A nice thing, however, about this discussion was that it prompted me to
dig out my 'Caged / Uncaged' CD, which has been too neglected in my
collection in recent years.
