framework - phonography/field recording; contextual and decontextualized sound activity
presented by patrick mcginley

a very special edition this week in conjunction with the visit of several sound artists to london. justin bennett and achim wollscheid - who gave presentations last week at the architectural association, along with atau tanaka and hosted by brandon labelle - each contributed; justin with an exclusive piece for framework and achim with a live performance in the resonancefm studio. but wait, there's more! we also featured a framework exclusive track by tore honore boe, whose gave us an intro as well, and recordings by james dunn and an_polarity. our series of live performances continues in our next edition, with a visit from polish dublin-resident pawel grabowski, who we first featured after his performance here in london last fall at the red rose.

again, we are always looking for material for the show, whether raw field recordings, field recording based composition or introduction submissions. send material, released or not, on any format, to the address below. we are also hoping to have live performances as often as possible, so if you are in or passing through london please get in touch!

achim wollscheid / live on framework
achim's live performances consist of realtime laptop manipulations of a direct sound input; this time, completing the circle if you like, his source was cacerolada, to 20 minute piece by justin bennett that started off our broadcast. so two airings for justin's piece tonight, although the second was, admittedly (and perhaps aptly) barely recognisable...
