Re: [microsound] Brighton, uk

Hi,

There is a vibrant scene going on down here...Laptop Jams first started at
the Hanbury Ballroom here in Brighton, you can join the group at Yahoo for
the latest mailings, altho' this is quite a slow list. Lighthouse in Middle
St. is the digital hub for the south coast and you may find some things of
interest there. Loads of record labels, information via Brighton Underground
which is the networking forum for the Brighton music industry (they have
monthly unsigned nights at the Sussex Arts Club) and finally Brighton
Festival <http://www.brightonfestival.org.uk> should have the programme
available in the next week or so. I've seen a preview copy and there are
some great music events including a special commission from Asian Dub
Foundation.

Hope this helps,

Joe
