if that extends to the listener then i think that could work. However I 
am thinking there are many sonic events without compositional 'will' 
which can be heard as music by the listener. The field recording of 
cicadas cited previously might be a good example. For this reason I 
used the word 'context' , in order to allow for the removal of the 
composer from the process of musical transmission and reception.
