[microsound] new tranoe ambrazier tool for manipulation

Hi,
I make electronic musical instruments. I have finished the design for
a new one, called the tranoe ambrazier. It combines a 10-celled analog
brain with two digital delays, to make an organically automated, sharply
digital sound sculpter generator and destroyer. You can see a picture
and hear sound files at http://www.rainbowrandom.net. Below is a short
paragraph about it. Thanks! -pete

The new tranoe ambrazier combines the organic flows of a nabra (analog
brain) with the manipulatability of two ambraziers (voltage controlled 8
bit digital delays). On its playing surface, you use any sort of
conductor (wire or alligator clips) to connect the nodes of 10 nabra
cells and the 2 ambrazier cells. To connect to external devices, you
can connect to any point on the tranoe, since there is no preset point
to listen to. For example, you can connect a drum machine for
syncronization to an input node on the nabra, or you can listen to the
output of a delay by connecting it to a mixer. You can use as many
inputs or outputs as you desire; the tranoe can fit into whatever "gear
montage" you use. The two delays have large, shuttle-wheel style knobs,
which help to sculpt sound gestures in their material. But the delays
can also be controlled by the nabra- they have node inputs controlling
their speed, direction, and skip points. The possibilities are endless,
with 100+ separate nodes in 12 different cells, you could be analog
braining, sampling, resampling, destroying or silencing it all right now!
