speaking of promos, deadceo (my project) has put out another small edition
compilation called "Sound Writing" (60 lathe-cut records).  Also, an older
small compilation called "Winter Construction" was way sold out and is now

"Sound Writing" lathe-cut record compilation (edition of 60)

"Sound Writing" is an edition of 60 10-inch records featuring audio work by
Helen Mirra/Ernst Karel, Fred Lonberg-Holm, Carol Genetti, and Uncle Woody
Sullender. Each record was individually cut on a cutting lathe by Peter King
Records, New Zealand. Each artist was asked to create works specifically for
this medium.

*** "WINTER CONSTRUCTION" AVAILABLE NOW ON THE WEB ***

Winter Construction is a lovely text object with an acommpanying cd-r
focusing on Chicago artists of various related genres that came out in 2002.
It was released in a low-run edition because of the hand-made packaging and
it sold out quickly.

Since the audio portion was quite interesting, the cd-r has been archived on
the web in MP3 format, including tracks by MORA, Kyle Bruckmann, Eric
Leonardson/ Yasuhiro Otani, Rosenberg Skronktet, Fred Lonberg-Holm, the
Flying Luttenbachers, Ernst Karel/ Brent Gutzeit/ Jason Soliday, Lozenge,
Metallux, TV Pow, and others.  Enjoy!
