Reminds me of an idea I never completed..

It would involve taking a sample (someones voice) and running it through time shifting and other preset functions to both change it and make it longer.

Then - burn it as quickly as possible.

The concept was to create negative creative space - to create, burn, and distribute an album in less than the amount of time it takes to listen to it. The extra time on the album would be "bonus" creative space. Conceptually the extra time (that is total length of the CD minus time it took to make) is like a battery of creative energy that is stored until it is listened to at home for the first time. Also think - getting a CD that nobody has heard, no even the author.

The spin-off was to preset the processing patch - create the patch, process, and burn as fast as possible.

I'm not saying it would be great music in itself - more like a preformance art piece.
