[microsound] LAST CALL !! - Laptop music workshop with Neil Rolnick in LA



Just 10 days remain until the day-long workshop at California State 
University Los Angeles with composer/laptopist Neil Rolnick, 
sponsored by American Composers Forum of Los Angeles.

KICKSTART MUSIC-MAKING ON YOUR LAPTOP !

WHEN:	  Saturday, May 29 2004, 10AM to 5PM

WHERE:	  California State University, Los Angeles

WHO:	  Neil Rolnick, with the assistance of CSULA Prof. John Kennedy
   and acf/LA technologist Richard Zvonar

WHAT:
Using downloaded demo software (e.g Reason, Live!, Reaktor) or your 
own licensed software on your personal laptop, we go through setting 
up, playing live, and recording to disk.  Work alone or in impromptu 
ensembles; come away with experience and enough knowledge to keep 
working (and playing) on your own.   Up to 20 participants. 
Participants may provide their own laptops (Mac or PC) or they may 
use one of the Macintosh G5 systems in the Cal State computer music 
lab. Space is limited, so reserve your space today!
