[no.signal] presents the first Italian edition of the Placard (French 
for 'closet'), a concept which saw the light 6 years ago in Paris, 
France (http://placard7.ath.cx). The 7th edition will run this year for 
95 days and the PEAM (Pescara Electronic Artist Meeting), in its second 
year, will host the placard@peam.

The event will run for nearly 10 hours offering a range of electronic 
and experimental music performances both live in Pescara and from 
cross-interactions with other Placards including Helsinki and Poitiers 
whilst 'virtual' performances will be held in London, Naples and Paris 
(see line-up here below).

We strongly encourage people to bring their own headphones. We intend 
to have around 60 headphone jacks to plug yourself into, so there is 
plenty of room for the Italian-based audience.
