RE: [microsound] Radio broadcasts of Microsound projects+other broadcast opportunities

As well...i have an opportunity, through a local company, to set up a
24x7 internet radio station/streaming server...the company is a local
reseller/supplier of real products AND THEREFORE requests that all
material to be played through their servers be in real audio format,
preferably at 40kps BUT is willing to offer streams at higher bitrates
as well [logic being that 75% of internet use is still through 56k
modems or lower]...the company doesn't have knowledge/appreciation of
alternative/Microsound/electro-acoustic or whatever types of
noise/non-noise/electro-pop/sound-art and doesn't seem to particularly
care what I would setup to stream through their server...i believe that
they are looking to gain some credibility in the local [Ottawa, Canada]
hitech marketplace as a provider of streaming services and are thereby
willing to donate server space & bandwidth/as long as they don't have to
do any work themselves...the streams could include artist info,
websites, where to buy details and all that/possibly video if anyone has
it.....all the details have yet to be worked out[I'm busy at present
selling my home/or should I say getting my home ready for sale] but I
hope to have it all worked out within about the next month...anyway
....would there be any interest in this by participants on the list?  Or
if anyone has any ideas about what this could be?should be?or might want
to try to be please send them my way
