Call For Content:

POLYPHONIC VOICES OF DIGITAL DISSENT:
"a collection of highly opinionated responses to the state of the union"

Communications Of Tomorrow (CommTom) announces a call for content for a 
fast’n’furious turnaround on a CD-R compilation that will be targeted 
to select broadcasters across the United States for pre-election 
delivery.

Please join CommTom in an effort to edify & to entertain in a political 
climate that apparently seeks to nullify & restrain.  CommTom requests 
that you submit electronic political audio works — by September 15th, 
less than a month away!

GUIDELINES:
- Sept. 15, 2004 deadline
- Completed works may be submitted at any time between now and Sept. 
15th
- Tracks should be between 3-5 minutes in length, no more than 8
- Provide a downloadable MP3 link, or a CD via snail mail
- If sending via snail mail, please send to:

- If providing a Link, please encode MP3 at 160kbps minimum, up to 
16/44 AIFF or WAV audio format quality
- Use of voice samples encouraged, especially ones emanating from 
political speeches, debates, comments & other public-domain soundbites
- Works of an experimental and/or adventurous nature are encouraged
- Keep in mind that the intent is to garner radio airplay on community, 
independent and college radio stations as an "election novelty"
- Only highly opinionated work will be considered

ACCEPTANCE
- Accepted works will be notified on Sept. 17th
- Selected artists will have the opportunity to submit a brief bio, 
image &/or discography for use in promotional materials
- All artists will retain full rights and responsibilities to their 
work, and will recieve a copy of the finished CD


RELEASE
- Will be full color printed CD-R with custom printed paperboard 
digipaks
- All selected tracks will be available for download on the CommTom 
website. Consider it a campaign donation
- CD's will be distributed nationally to community, independent and 
college radio & iRadio stations
- CommTom will cover distribution costs and press support
- Additional voluntary & promotional efforts will be accepted and 
appreciated
- Distributed by October 5th - exactly one month before the November 
Presidential elections
