Abrimos la sesión de esta semana desde el sello Rossbin, con el nuevo 
trabajo del compositor norteamericano Alvin Curran, que recientemente 
publicaba un disco de música electrónica dividido en cuatro cortes, en su 
mayoría creados en colaboración con el programador siciliano Domenico 
Sciajno, con el que ya había colaborado en múltiples ocasiones para 
diferentes campos como la radio, instalaciones y performances... aunque, 
para empezar la sesión de esta semana, hemos elegido el corte que abre el 
álbum, compuesto por Curran

New work of the American composer Alvin Curran, an electronic music record 
divided in four tracks mainly created in collaboration with the Sicilian 
programmer Domenico Sciajno, with who he had collaborated repeteadly for 
different fields such as radio, sound installations and performances. The 
opening track in the album, though, was composed by Curran alone

02. TOMAS KORBER / ERIK M / TOSHIMARU NAKAMURA / OTOMO YOSHIHIDE

Mezcla especial de las piezas que conforman Brackwater, el nuevo trabajo 
improvisado en el sello suizo For4Ears de un cuarteto formado por el joven 
guitarrista y músico electrónico Tomas Korber junto a tres grandes nombres 
de la escena: el francés Erik M procesando sonidos en tiempo real y los 
japoneses Otomo Yoshihide y Toshimaru Nakamura, el primero a los platos 
actuando como un instrumento más y el segundo lanzando crujidos de estática 
desde su cuadro de mezclas, aunque no participa en el segundo de los cortes

Special mix of the two pieces componing Brackwater, the new improvised work 
in the Swiss label For4Ears of a quartet formed by young guitarrist and 
electronic musician Tomas Korber together with three consolidated names: 
Erik M sound-processing in real-time, and the Japanese Otomo Yoshihide and 
Toshimaru Nakamura, the first in the turntables acting like another 
instrument, and the second throwing static crackles from the mixing board 
?though he wasn?t present in the second of the tracks

03. BORIS BALTSCHUN / AXEL DÖRNER / KAI FAGASCHINSKI

Colaboración de la mano de tres músicos alemanes: el clarinetista Kai 
Fagaschinski y el trompetista Axel Dörner buscando que sus instrumentos 
suenen electrónicos junto a Boris Baltschun en el sampler. A pesar de que se 
concibió en el entorno de Berlin, este disco se publica en el sello 
portugués Creative Sources

Collaboration between three german musicians: the clarinetist Kai 
Fagaschinski and the trumpetist Axel Dörner giving their instruments an 
electronic approach in the way they sound, together with Boris Baltschun in 
the sampler. Despite being conceived in the Berlin environment, the record 
is released by the Portuguese label Creative Sources

04. JOHN DUNCAN & ELLIOTT SHARP

Nueva publicación del explorador del sonido en general y del medio 
radiofónico en particular John Duncan a través de su sello Allquestions, en 
este caso junto a Elliott Sharp, un trabajo titulado Tongue que utiliza como 
fuente la voz humana, la de los propios autores, tratada y procesada junto a 
señales de onda corta, campo en el que John Duncan es uno de los más 
importantes investigadores

New release by John Duncan, a explorer of sound in general and the radio 
media in particular, inn his own label AllQuestions, in this occasion with 
Elliot Sharp. A work named Tongue that uses the human voice ?from the 
authors themselves- as its main source, treated and processed together with 
shortwave signals, a field in which John Duncan is a master investigator

05. IAN ANDREWS

Dedicaremos la parte final de la sesión de esta semana en Onda Sonora a 
escuchar las últimas novedades provenientes del sello nor-irlandés Fällt, 
con una nueva serie de lanzamientos ?quemados a la carta?. En primer lugar, 
suena Ceremonial, el último disco de un artista multidisciplinar australiano 
que comenzó a trabajar a principios de los 80 en Sidney, Ian Andrews, con un 
corte que evoluciona lentamente hacia texturas a cada momento más 
complicadas y repletas de detalles

Northern Ireland label Fällt presents a new series of burn-to-order 
releases: Ferric, focusing on textures, every time more detailed and 
complicated. Ceremonial is the first reference in the series and the last cd 
by the Sydney-based mustidisciplinar artist Ian Andrews, who began to work 
in the early 80s.

Otra novedad desde el sello Fällt para sus Ferric series. Se trata de una 
pareja de italianos, Rossano Polidoro y Emiliano Romanelli, que han elegido 
como nombre artístico conjunto el de la última pintura de Marcel Duchamp, 
Tu?m. Además de músicos, trabajan también al frente del net label Tu M?p3 y 
su correspondiente en formato cd Mr Mutt Records
