Re: [microsound] the great depression of experimental music?
Maybe experimental musics has to take control of it's own destiny and I
believe lists such as this and community/college radio are the only
resource for this material. Maybe a list like this should become in
away distribution. The microsound store. instead of having product it
supplies a contact to the artist. The store posts an image of the cover
some details about the players and a sound mp3 sample. You like it you
click on the cover and the oder is sent directly to to the
artist/label. They look after the sale. Could this be the future of the
music? The big 5 labels as mentioned in a earlier post are only
interested in product (don't you just hate that term) If it can't go
triple platinum. It kinda leaves use in the out.
