[microsound] def Dumb and Bass fREAKoUT!

I have a monthly residency in Baltimore where I host, curate and 
perform called the "def Dumb and Bass fREAKoUT!"

It occurs the 3rd Sunday of every month. In January I'll be celebrating 
a year of doing this.

I view it as a public service to the people of Baltimore: I have (so 
far) charged no admission, I give every performer a 1/2 hour set (in 
some cases they can be longer) and pay no one (including myself, 
although I have been known to cough up gas money and a place to crash 
for out of town performers)

I try to have a lot of variety @ these shows, and the November edition 
was no exception. On November 19th, people witnessed:

DJs (DJ Domestique); live, improvised homemade instruments and 
interactive laptop music (the "manDrum"); "live" hardware driven 
electronic music (Sibling); spoken word; performance art (Moth), a 
live, psychedelic, electro-acoustic, world dance music band (Telesma); 
interactive video (whitecap projected on a 7' x 9' fastfold screen); 
and belly dancers(the Egyptian Sun Bellydancers).

....and that was a typical show.

it started @ 9pm and ended @ 2am (because the crowd stayed on a SUNDAY!)

months (Dec is booked, Jan is mostly booked) please let me know!
